Job summary

Chaparral Company is seeking a field technician to assemble, install, and maintain electric heat trace systems. You will perform electrical calculations, interpret construction drawings, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate with the insulation supervisor on-site.

You will also install insulation on HVAC ducts, pipes, and industrial piping, document work, and comply with safety protocols while working outdoors in various weather conditions. Proficiency with meters and power tools is required.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical knowledge required; licensed electrician or journeyman not required.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Experience with outdoor work in variable temperatures.
