Job summary

Lanco is seeking Electrical and Mechanical Assemblers in Illinois to build and wire crane components, reading blueprints and schematics, and preparing units for production. The role involves assemblies, testing, and maintaining documentation in a safety-conscious environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in electrical assembly, familiarity with hydraulic systems, and the ability to read prints and shop manuals. On-site work with full benefits and competitive hourly pay is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years relevant work experience.
• Electrical assembly experience preferred.
• Able to read prints and shop manuals.
• Prior use of hand and air tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies and testing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical, mechanical and/or hydraulic crane components.
• Set up from blueprints and wire high or low voltage boxes.
• Read and interpret schematics (micro, PLC, relay).
• Assemble sub-assemblies or finished products per instructions.
• Maintain records and perform on-line testing and inspection.
• Possibly operate a forklift and ensure safety compliance.
