Job summary

Lingo Staffing in Valley View, OH is hiring an Electrical & Mechanical Assembler to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power tools, read blueprints, schematics, BOMs, and work orders, and ensure assemblies meet quality and safety standards.

The role offers 1st shift: 5:30AM-2:30PM and 2nd shift: 2:00PM-12:30AM with a pay rate of $20.50 per hour plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Read and follow manufacturing instructions and work orders.
• Basic shop math and attention to detail.

Lingo Staffing is now hiring Electrical & Mechanical Assembler in the Valley View, OH area to start ASAP!

Electrical & Mechanical Assembler - Responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components in a manufacturing environment using hand and power tools. Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, BOMs, and work orders, identify parts, perform basic shop math, and ensure finished assemblies meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, can read technical drawings, and has strong attention to detail and quality.

Payrate & Scheduled

• $20.50Hourly + Shift Differential.
• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday: 5:30AM-2:30PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday: 2:00PM-12:30AM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

• Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components according to specifications
• Read and follow manufacturing instructions, assembly standards, and work instructions
• Previous manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or electrical assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
• Ability to perform basic shop math
• Read and interpret BOMs, blueprints, drawings, electrical schematics, and work orders
• Identify parts and ensure the correct components are being used during assembly
• Properly use small hand tools and assembly equipment
• Operate power tools including drills, Greenlee punches, electric rivet-nut tools, and similar equipment
• Identify and report non-conforming or defective parts during the assembly process
• Perform basic shop math as needed
• Maintain quality and productivity standards
• Follow all company safety procedures and requirements
• Work closely with team members and communicate assembly, quality, or safety concerns to supervisors
• Assist with training other assemblers as needed
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
• Understanding of World Class Manufacturing principles is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
