Interstates in Fort Collins, CO offers a NEW Industrial Manufacturing Technician (IMT) Registered Apprenticeship. Join as Production Tech Apprentice to support Fort Collins manufacturing operations, gain hands-on experience in electrical construction, wiring, and fabrication while learning safety, math, tools, and workplace skills.

Ideal candidates are 16+, enrolled in a PACT core program, and able to commit 10–20 hours weekly during school and full-time in summer.

Qualifications

• Must be High School Sophomore or Junior
• IMT Apprenticeship requires a full year for completion
• Must be a minimum 16 years of age
• Must be enrolled in an HBI PACT Core program
• Must be willing to provide a transcript or proof of enrollment if requested

Responsibilities

• Assembling pre-fabricated electrical construction material
• Assembling and pre-wiring light fixtures, receptacles, and switches
• Bending and threading conduit
• Fabricates support structures by cutting, bending, and welding components
• Displays a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Takes initiative to learn systems and processes
• Takes a proactive approach to problem solving
• Other duties may be assigned
