Job summary

Neogen Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in a challenging night shift role. The position focuses on electrical systems, performing proactive maintenance, testing, and repairs to keep equipment reliable and minimize downtime.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, replace components, and provide hands-on support and training to staff. Candidates typically have 3–5 years of related maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience with repairing down equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
• Test equipment for performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Replace old or faulty electrical components and equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on operation and maintenance.
