Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an electrical maintenance technician to support stores by performing a range of advanced electrical tasks. You will repair, install, inspect and troubleshoot electrical and related systems to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of electrical systems and related components.
• Three years of experience in electrical field or combination of experience and technical/vocational training.
• License to operate mechanical equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately complex technical functions related to electrical support of engineering activities.
• Repairing, maintaining, overhauling, modifying, installing, dismantling and inspection of electrical and related equipment.
• Diagnosing problems and recommending design modifications as needed.
• Logs inspection reports and maintains maintenance records.
• Assists other technicians and provides guidance as needed.
