Job summary

Miraclon is seeking a maintenance electrician to support industrial facilities with preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across electrical systems. You will interpret blueprints, follow NEC standards, and ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, diagnosing faults with tools like voltmeters and oscilloscopes, and documenting all work. Strong safety knowledge and 3–5+ years experience are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience as a maintenance electrician in industrial or commercial environments.
• Deep knowledge of electrical systems (120v-480v three-phase), PLC troubleshooting, and motor controls.
• Strong safety knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Troubleshooting and repair of malfunctions using testing devices; replace faulty wiring, breakers, or components.
• Installation and upgrades of electrical systems and equipment following blueprints and NEC.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance & Inspection: Routinely inspects electrical systems, circuits, motors, and panels to identify hazards or defects before they cause failures.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnoses malfunctions using testing devices (voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes) and repairs/replaces faulty wiring, breakers, or components.
• Installation & Upgrades: Installs new electrical systems, conduits, and equipment, following blueprints, schematics, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• System Testing: Tests the performance of electrical systems and components to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Documentation: Maintains accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience (often 3-5+ years) as a maintenance electrician in industrial or commercial environments.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of electrical systems (120v-480v three-phase), PLC troubleshooting, and motor controls.
• Safety Knowledge: Thorough understanding of safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).
• Tools: Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.

Common Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in electrical maintenance or completion of an apprenticeship is often preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
