Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. is seeking an Electrician Maintenance I to support pipe manufacturing equipment, conducting daily checks and preventive maintenance, and ordering parts as needed. The role involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and keeping supervisors informed of repair progress.

You will participate in on-call rotations, collect oil samples for analysis, and contribute to reliability improvements on a 7pm–7am night shift, performed on-site at the Midland, TX facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Willingness to work night shifts (7pm–7am).

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery and equipment used in pipe manufacturing.
• Order parts and supplies for preventive maintenance.
• Perform daily checks on all equipment and plant filters.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Provide updates to management and supervisors on repairs.
• Respond to on-call emergencies.
• Take oil samples for analysis to determine replacement timing.

Job description

Electrician Maintenance I

Upkeep of machines and equipment use in pipe manufacturing. Ordered parts for broken equipment and supplies for the preventative maintenance. We did daily checks on all equipment and filters in the entire plant. Diagnosed broke equipment electrical and mechanical. Also kept the management and supervisors informed of what was wrong and a update on the repairs. Also did on call. Also would take samples of the oil in the equipment to be sent off to be analyzed. This helped determine when the oil in the extruders needed to be replaced. We did daily monthly and yearly preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities. We also made things to add to equipment to help make things easier and run better
