YOUR HOURS

This full-time position offers the stability of a consistent career while providing the variety that comes with supporting a 24/7 operation. You will participate in an on-call rotation and may occasionally need to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, or assist with emergency maintenance to ensure that our facility runs smoothly.

YOUR ROLE AS AN ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As our Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in maintaining our facility's electrical systems. Your tasks will include troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical equipment up to 480V, as well as installing and maintaining motors, VFDs, MCCs, and electrical distribution systems. You will also diagnose issues with PLC-controlled equipment and instrumentation. You will interpret electrical drawings and perform preventative maintenance while responding quickly to equipment failures to minimize disruptions. Additionally, you will calibrate instrumentation, assist with equipment upgrades, and maintain accurate records in our CMMS. Adhering to OSHA, NFPA 70E, confined space, and lockout/tagout standards is vital. Collaboration with operations and maintenance teams will be key to enhancing reliability and supporting efficient production.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical experience
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance electrical experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving motors, controls, VFDs, PLCs, and instrumentation
• NFPA 70E- Electrical Safety in Workplace Training
• Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, and dusty industrial environments
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ethanol, food processing, grain handling, chemical processing, or other industrial manufacturing environments
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMI systems, and industrial automation
• Knowledge of process instrumentation, calibration practices, and industrial networking
• Experience using CMMS software (E.G SAP PM, Maximo, FIIX, or Similar)
• Arc Flash certification or completed arc flash hazard analysis training
