Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is assisting Edinburgh Veneer in finding a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment such as slicers, dryers, sawmills, payloaders, and forklifts. You will run conduit, grease machinery, troubleshoot PLCs, and respond to on-call situations while supporting building maintenance and outdoor/indoor work.

Schedule offers 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm or 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am, with overtime when available; benefits include 401K match and

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Willing to work outdoors and indoors.
• Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
• Electrical maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy equipment such as slicers, dryers, and sawmills.
• Install and run conduit and grease machinery.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and electrical systems.
• Respond to on-call maintenance and support building upkeep.
• Occasional overtime as needed.

Job description

Job Summary/Company Information:

• An Edinburgh Veneer company is looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their team!
• The Maintenance Technician performs diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on heavy equipment/machinery such as slicers, dryers, sawmills, payloaders, forklifts, etc.
• The Technician will be responsible for running conduit, greasing machinery, working with PLC’s, troubleshooting, responding to on-call situations, building maintenance and more

Compensation Package & Benefits:

• Up to $40/hr based on experience
• $.75/hr shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
• Yearly Pay Evaluations for knowledge

Schedule:

2nd or 3rd shift available

• 2nd shift, Monday – Friday 2pm-10:30pm
• 3rd shift Sunday – Thursday shift 10pm-6:30am
• Ability to pick up overtime when available

Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must be okay with working both in/outdoors
• Previous mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance
• Electrical maintenance experience is ideal but not required
• Knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
