Job summary

Steelscape LLC, part of BlueScope CPNA, is seeking an experienced Electrician in Kalama, WA. You will maintain and repair electrical systems, troubleshoot complex equipment, and support safety and reliability across facilities.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical maintenance, TPM/RCM experience preferred, and travel ~10%. You will work with PLC and control equipment, and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure operations meet safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED and two years of technical schooling in electrical/electronic tech.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel ~10% including days/overnight.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, tests, and troubleshoots electrical systems per specifications.
• Plans work scope, tools, and material requirements for repairs.
• Dismantles, repairs, and reassembles electrical equipment and panel boards.
• Rewires, insulates, and tunes equipment for proper operation.
• Provides on-call maintenance and supports safety compliance across shifts.
