Job summary

ProAmpac in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an experienced Maintenance technician with strong electrical expertise to join our manufacturing team. The role involves reading drawings, troubleshooting, panel work, and electrical installations in a fast-paced facility.

Hours are 12-hour days (8am–8pm) on a rotating schedule with possible overtime. Salary ranges from $28 to $36 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits, a quarterly bonus, and a referral program.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience with 2–5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of three-phase 480 VAC and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot equipment using diagrams/manuals.
• Ability to perform general math accurately.
• Must understand Ohm’s law and how to use it.
• Must read electrical systems.
• Must be able to program timers, heat controllers and VFDs.
• Must be able to build small and large control panels.
• Must identify electrical parts.
• Must install conduits, cable wire and pull wire; know which to use.

Responsibilities

• Work overtime as needed.
• Maintain industrial electrical systems in a manufacturing facility.
• Read electrical drawings and troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and manuals.
• Perform general math accurately and consistently.
• Stand for long periods; excellent hand-eye coordination; lift up to 50 pounds.
• Understand and apply Ohm’s law; work with electrical schematics.
• Program timers, heat controllers, and VFDs; build control panels.
• Identify electrical parts and install conduits and wiring as required.
