Job summary
Boise Cascade is seeking an experienced Maintenance Leader to oversee facility maintenance at a plywood facility. You will manage hourly maintenance personnel, coordinate preventive maintenance, and drive reliability and safety in daily operations.
The role requires a BS degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years of maintenance in manufacturing, and strong leadership to coach teams through continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- Extensive preventive maintenance experience.
- Prior supervisory or lead person experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; safety-focused.
- Desire to coach and drive continuous improvement in a team.
Responsibilities
- Manages installation, maintenance, and repair teams for safe operation of electrical systems.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Lead and coordinate electricians and contractors; ensure safety.
- Schedule predictive and preventive tasks; estimate time and resources.
- Diagnose complex malfunctions and implement quick repairs to reduce downtime.
- Maintain knowledge of industrial electrical systems and PLCs; promote safety.
- Foster continuous improvement and effective team communication.
