Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation's Los Angeles Refinery in Wilmington/Carson, CA seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance craft and union personnel. The role ensures preventive and corrective work is performed safely and efficiently, maintaining critical electrical systems and plant infrastructure.

The position requires 5+ years in electrical maintenance within heavy industry, strong safety discipline, and the ability to work onsite Monday–Thursday 6:00

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have at least 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in a refinery, petro-chemical or other related heavy industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must wear PPE in the refinery, be able to pass hair drug test and physical.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without VISA sponsorship.
• Travel requirement is 5% or less.
• Onsite schedule Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM with on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical maintenance craft and union represented employees while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
• Ensure work orders are completed and properly closed out; communicate daily activities to management.
• Maintain safe working environment; participate in safety committees and audits; follow up on safety issues.
