Placements24 is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at the Paarl plant. You will ensure reliability of all electrical equipment, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement across preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and safety programs.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial electrical systems, leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician (Trade Test) with a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience with industrial control systems, motor control, and power distribution.
• Solid understanding of electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work order management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical maintenance team.
• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for electrical equipment.
