Job summary
Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Senior/Lead Routine Maintenance Planner – Electrical to support the E&I shop. You will develop detailed job plans, procure materials, and coordinate between Operations and Maintenance to execute work safely and cost-effectively.
The role schedules Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:30 PM with occasional after-hours and extended hours during turnarounds, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of planning and coordination experience in industrial maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED accepted with experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP or equivalent planning software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review and process work notifications into work orders with proper authorization and estimates.
- Develop detailed work packages and procure materials for job execution.
- Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance to plan, schedule and execute work.
- Lead backlog reviews and ensure safety, PSM and environmental compliance.
- Assist with cost forecasting, budget adherence, and KPI reviews.
- Mentor colleagues and ensure quality control in work planning.
