As Electrical Maintenance Planner/Supervisor, you’ll drive safety, lead a skilled team, plan daily and long-range maintenance, and optimize spare parts using CMMS to improve reliability and efficiency at the Cloquet mill.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or AS in a technical field/Process Control is required.
• Five or more years of electrical maintenance experience may substitute for post-secondary education.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Sappi does not provide visa sponsorship.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving maintenance excellence and ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. Your core responsibilities include:

• Championing safety performance and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborating with Safety, Environmental, Operations, and Reliability leaders to maintain operational excellence.
• Keeping equipment bills of material current and reviewing parts for inventory optimization.
• Developing task lists and standard work procedures for new and existing equipment.
• Maximizing wrench time through effective planning and work assignment.
• Assigning and redirecting work to the maintenance workforce.

What You Bring

• Education: BS in Electrical Engineering OR AS in a technical field or Process Control.
• Experience: Five or more years of electrical maintenance experience may substitute for post-secondary education. Must include experience in maintenance craft or as a coordinator, supervisor, planner, or engineer in an industrial setting.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sappi does not provide visa sponsorship.

Safety-Sensitive Position

Candidates must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job while working in operational areas that contain magnetic and electromagnetic field exposure, moving equipment, vehicular traffic, elevated work areas, and other industrial hazards.
