Job summary

SSAB is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to support the Electrical Manager in planning, safety, troubleshooting, scheduling, parts procurement, and repair activities for the electrical group. You will lead daily tasks, advise on repair techniques, and coordinate with Mechanical, Operations, and other departments to ensure efficient outages and maintenance success.

The role requires strong electrical/ instrumentation knowledge, PLC programming, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Electrical and instrumentation knowledge applicable to industrial maintenance.
Experience with PLC programming and electrical repair.
Ability to plan, troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment.
Strong verbal communication skills and safety focus.

Responsibilities

Assist Electrical Manager with outage planning, scheduling, and parts procurement.
Plan daily tasks for Electrical Maintenance employees and coordinate with other teams.
Coordinate with contractors and engineering on-site for electrical projects.
Monitor and improve maintenance processes and performance.
Budget daily projects and outages; ensure timely completion.
