Job summary

Bull Moose Tube Company is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support the Gerald, Missouri plant. Responsibilities include mill maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding, and general repair to keep all units operating at peak performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, experience with PLCs, sensors and electro/mechanical systems, and the ability to operate hand and power tools and forklifts. Teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a industrial setting.
• Computer literacy and basic measurement skills required.
• Minimum 70% score on plant maintenance test is expected.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, limit switches and electro/mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools, welders, torches, meters, cranes, forklifts.
• Team oriented with ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mill, building and grounds to keep the plant running smoothly.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repair tasks.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and welding work.
• Fabricate parts and use test equipment to diagnose issues.
• Operate and maintain cranes, hoists and forklifts as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in training.
• Assist with overtime or varied shifts as required.

SUMMARY:

Understands and reinforces the Company vision of being the best producer of steel pipe and tube in North America. Responsible for all aspects of production and facility related maintenance required to keep the plant and all units operating at top level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIREMENTS:

3. Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, calipers

5. Able to work in an environment without climate control
