Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine's Intrastaff division is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic in Baltimore, MD. This role maintains, installs and repairs electrical and pneumatic equipment across Johns Hopkins locations, under general supervision.

The ideal candidate will hold a Journeyman Electrical Card, have a four-year electrical apprenticeship, and at least five years of related experience, with strong safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical Card required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a four (4) year Electrical Apprentice Program approved by local or state government.
• 5 years of related work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA.
• Possesses the ability to solve electrical maintenance and construction problems and manage information indicated herein.
• Pneumatic tube system, Fire alarm system, and high-voltage switch-gear a plus.

Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance Mechanic

Location: 601 N. Wolfe Street, Baltimore, MD 21287

Hours:8-hour shift, 7a-3:30p on Friday, and a 16-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday, 7a-11:30p

Pay range: $35 - $40 per hour
