Job summary

Altium Packaging in Hebron, Kentucky seeks an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic II. The role focuses on inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical/electronic systems on 8-hour first shift in a plastics production environment.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics to sustain equipment performance. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of maintenance experience, reads schematics, and adheres to safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–5 years of maintenance and electrical experience.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with 480/277/220/120V circuits; robotics and PLC systems.
• May require OSHA forklift certification.
• Focus on safe work practices and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems and production equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair blow molders, baggers, and support equipment; program PLCs and robotics.
• Read blueprints, interpret schematics, and adjust hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanicals as needed.
• Carry out mold changes and perform welding and fabrication when required.

Location Address:2100 Global Way, Hebron, Kentucky 41048Work Shift:8hr-1st Shift (United States of America)Duties of the Job:The Electrical Maintenance Mechanic II will inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits and other production equipment.perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on, plant equipment, production machinery and facility. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.• Experience in Plastic Blow Molding preferred• Install electrical circuits including troubleshooting on voltage 480, 277, 220, 120.• Troubleshoot, program and repair Robotics• Troubleshoot and Program PLC systems• Read and interprets blueprints and schematics.• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, electrical power supply and control circuits.• Troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow molders, baggers & support equipment.• Perform mold, pin and other mechanical changes.• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.• Perform hydraulic checks and changes on valves, hoses and pumps.• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all related equipment.• Perform welding and fabrication as needed.• Solicit information and feedback from other departments toward repair and efficient operation of machines.• Other duties as assigned by management.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.Qualifications:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job.
