Job summary

Titan America in Roanoke Cement Plant (Troutville, VA) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide expertise in industrial power distribution, control systems, and plant automation. You will support maintenance, reliability, and capital projects to keep the plant safe and productive.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of medium voltage systems, PLCs, HMIs, and electrical schematics, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in an industrial environment, ideally cement/mining/heavy manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Allen Bradley Studio 5000, FactoryTalk HMI, and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Strong knowledge of 480V–13.8kV power distribution and electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and automation issues across the plant.
• Design, program, and optimize automation and control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Lead or support capital projects for electrical upgrades and system integrations.
• Support outages with planning, execution, and commissioning of electrical work.
• Contribute to maintenance strategies for electrical systems and safety compliance.
