Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management service provider on a static contract within an educational environment in Hampstead, North West London.

As the sole engineer on site, you'll be responsible for all landlord and tenant M&E and fabric maintenance, covering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance, with a 40-hour work week and overtime options available.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with relevant trade certificates.
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3.
• 17th or 18th Edition.
• Proven experience in commercial or property maintenance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage a single-person site.
• Honest, hardworking and reliable.
• DBS check required due to the education environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Lighting fault-finding, lamping, ballast replacement and small installations.
• Maintain control panels and power distribution systems.
• Carry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
• Monitor and maintain AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning.
• Reset and monitor chillers.
• Carry out basic maintenance on pumps and motors.
• Complete water treatment temperature checks (non-dosing).
• Carry out basic plumbing duties, including unblocking toilets and changing taps and seals.
• Monitor BMS systems, including heating and cooling.
• Monitor UPS systems and record readings.
• Complete general building fabric maintenance.
• Escort and liaise with specialist subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Education Environment – Hampstead, North West London | Up to £50,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management service provider on a static contract within an educational environment in Hampstead, North West London.

This is a single-person site role, where the successful candidate will take responsibility for all landlord and tenant M&E and fabric maintenance, covering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance.

As the sole engineer on site, you'll need to be confident working independently with a broad range of electrical, mechanical and building services.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 - 17:00
• 40-hour week
• Overtime available
• 1-in-4/5 call-out rota

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
