Job summary

Randstad USA in Cleveland, OH seeks an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimize electrical, automation, PLC and motor drive systems onsite. You will serve as a subject matter expert for level 1 PLCs, control systems, and power distribution, driving improvements for production uptime and safety.

Required are a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or an Associates with at least 5 years of relevant experience, plus 5+ years in heavy manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an Associates degree with minimum 5 years industrial electrical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, controls, or automation.
  • Understanding of automation architectures, industrial networks and AC/DC motor control principles.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and improve electrical, automation, PLC and motor drive systems.
  • Lead PLC installations, upgrades, vendor coordination, scheduling and commissioning.
  • Apply best practices in process automation, feedback devices, instrumentation, AC/DC motor control and power distribution.

Job description

Well know and industry leading manufacturer in Cleveland, Ohio is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

This role comes with a very competitive salary up to $110k plus a 15% annual bonus, relocation assistance is available and opportunities for advancement.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in U.S.

responsibilities:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and improve electrical, automation, PLC and motor drive systems
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for level 1 PLC's, control systems, regulating systems and industrial motor drives
  • Analyze and repair complex electrical and control system issues affecting production, quality and safety
  • Lead and manage electrical projects, including PLC installations, upgrades, vendor coordination, cost tracking, scheduling and commissioning
  • Apply best practices in process automation, feedback devices, instrumentation, AC/DC motor control and power distribution
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field or an Associates degree with a minimum 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, controls, or automation within a heavy manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Understanding of automation architetures, industrial communication networks and AC/DC motor control principles
