Job summary

Lincoln Tech in Allentown, PA is seeking experienced Electrical Instructors and Low Voltage instructors to teach in our Electrical and Electronic Systems program. You will deliver hands-on training in a fully equipped facility and help students build practical skills for in-demand careers.

Commitment to safety and curriculum delivery, plus the possibility of a four-day work week, makes this role ideal for industry professionals transitioning into teaching.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the Residential, Commercial, or Industrial Electric industry.
• Experience in installation and service of electrical equipment.
• Understanding of single and 3 phase systems.
• Knowledge of Codes.
• Motor controls, lighting controls or solar a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of Low Voltage systems a plus.
• High school diploma/GED.
• Teaching experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach and Provide Hands-on Training: Deliver practical instruction in Electrical and Electronics Systems using our facility.
• Facilitate and Deliver Curriculum: Teach the Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum.
• Teach Safety and Compliance: Instill safety procedures and regulations.
• Support and Motivate Student Growth: Encourage professionalism and development.
• Evaluate and Communicate Progress: Assess and provide feedback on student performance.
• Prepare Students for Successful Careers: Equip students with needed skills for in-demand careers.
