JOB SUMMARY

The Electrical Lead will ensure all daily electrical assembly tasks are completed on time and to completion. The lead will perform quality checks, training, and assembly tasks. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with industrial electrical experience looking to advance their careers and be an effective leader in the workplace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Oversee day-to-day activity of the electrical assembly department.
  • Coordinate work assignments to qualified personnel.
  • Identify and coordinate training needs for staff.
  • Assist in employee evaluations and reinforce safety policies.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the electrical department.
  • Serve as lead on electrical jobs including material requisitions.
  • Act as primary liaison to engineering regarding assembly issues.
  • Ensure redlines are completed and submitted prior to shipment.
  • Resolve department issues in coordination with management.
  • Implement process improvements for quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Interact with customers through sales and engineering.
  • Ensure projects meet customer timelines.
  • Guide assemblers to follow prints and approved wiring practices.
  • Verify electrical and safety circuits prior to shipment.
  • Review electrical documentation for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and CE requirements.
  • Perform HIPOT testing and develop safety procedures.
  • Participate in risk assessments and R&D efforts.
  • Support facility electrical infrastructure planning.
  • Troubleshoot and advise on electrical issues.
  • Perform assembly duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8-10+ years of industrial electrical experience, with 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have NYS drivers license.
  • Able to work overtime when necessary.
  • Willing to travel out of town on service trips.
  • The ability to perform work that requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending and kneeling.
