Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrician Training or related field preferred.
• Previous experience working in the electrical field is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively instruct and assist students.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining lab equipment and facilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors in setting up laboratory experiments and demonstrations for electrician courses.
• Provide guidance and supervision to students during lab sessions, ensuring their safety and adherence to lab protocols.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and procedures related to electrician equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean lab environment, including equipment calibration, inventory management, and safety inspections.
• Collaborate with instructors to develop and update lab materials, manuals, and procedures as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs or coordinate with technical support for maintenance and repairs.
• Keep abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and safety regulations related to electrical systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
