Job summary

Dunwoody is seeking an Electrical Teacher Aide to support instructors and students in lab and classroom settings. This part-time, onsite role offers hands-on experience with electrical systems and tools, and practical instructional support for students pursuing electrical field careers.

You will assist with setup, maintain meters and equipment, and help keep lab spaces organized while gaining closer collaboration with faculty and peers.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical knowledge and skills.
• Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment—multi-meters and related equipment.
• Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assisting instructors with lab and classroom setup.
• Maintaining and repairing meters and test equipment.
• Repairing and maintaining job boards.
• Setting up for performance exams.
• Recycling and disposing of used wire.
• Ordering and tracking repair parts and materials.
• Performing basic carpentry tasks when needed.
• Cleaning and organizing lab spaces.
• Moving and setting up classroom/lab furniture and equipment.
