Job summary

Trinity Health's Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD seeks a Journeyperson to install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems. The role requires a Commercial Journeyman license and a strong understanding of codes and safety regulations, with day shift hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and some weekend availability.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, use electronic equipment in Plant Operations, and work across facilities with a commitment to safety, quality, and reliability

Qualifications

• Commercial Journeyman License (Current)
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school certification with courses in electricity, electronics, motor control and operation, control wiring, electronic circuitry, basic computer skills, mathematics or a minimum of four (4) years experience working as an electrician apprentice, journeyman, electrician or electronics technician.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Has a good knowledge of codes and standards, required to perform work
• Must be able to understand and manipulate systems computers.
• Must be capable of reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints.
• Weekend work and shift rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and appliances according to standard practice of the trade, and safety regulations set up by State and local governments.
• Install, repair, and maintain electronic equipment used in areas of Plant Operations
