Job summary

Prairie Band, LLC is seeking an Electrical Journeyman to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across commercial, industrial, and residential settings in alignment with local and national codes.

You will troubleshoot issues, read blueprints, collaborate with other trades, and travel occasionally. Candidates must have Journeyman certification, pass background/drug checks, and meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Experience with commercial and residential electrical systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes electrical installation and maintenance following local and national codes.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs, including troubleshooting.
• Upgrades existing electrical systems to meet safety and efficiency standards.
• Adheres to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Identifies hazards and mitigates risks.
• Interprets blueprints and schematics to plan installations.
• Assists electricians during installation and repair tasks.
• Coordinates with trades, contractors, and project managers to meet schedules and budgets.
• Requires infrequent overnight travel.
