George McKenna Electrical Contractors is seeking an experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our growing team. The Journeyman will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the NEC and local codes, while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership to mentor apprentices, read blueprints, and coordinate with project managers to keep schedules on track.

Formación

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state/local).
• 5–10 years of electrical experience in commercial, multi-family, or residential construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and in varying weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
• Experience supervising apprentices or small crews.

Position Summary

The Electrical Journeyman is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with the Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety standards.
