Job summary

Amteck in Chester, VA is seeking skilled Electricians to join our project teams on a long-term basis. You will build and maintain electrical systems on commercial and industrial facilities, with opportunities to move to new projects after completion.

We offer safety-focused training and career growth, along with benefits and a 401K. The role requires reading blueprints, installing conduit, wiring and terminating panels, troubleshooting circuits, and coordinating with other trades on site.

Qualifications

5+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites.
Ability to install conduit, wire and cable systems as required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to install and terminate panels, switchboards and other electrical equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs on faulty circuits, equipment or systems.
OSHA10 preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations on commercial/industrial sites, including conduit, wiring, and cabling.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings.
Install and terminate panels, switchboards and related equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuits, equipment or systems.
