Job description

Supervisor: Manager, Electrical Field Operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for installing conduit and field mounted devices and pulling wire.
  2. Field and panel terminations on 480V, 120V, and 24V systems.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
  4. Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  5. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  1. Five years hands-on experience or Trade School is preferred.
  2. Must have knowledge of conveyor system field devices.
  3. Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift, and boom lifts.
  4. Proficiency in reading drawings and following basic instructions.
  5. Ability to work without direct supervision.
  6. Knowledge of safe industrial work practices.

Working Conditions:

  1. This is a 100% traveling position.
  2. 50 to 70 hours per week, based on project schedule. Some night work required as needed.
  3. Standing and walking for long periods of time.
  4. Occasional climbing on ladders, steps, scaffolding, and/or mezzanines.
  5. Sitting in and/or driving a vehicle for a long period of time.
  6. Working in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.
  7. Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended DBA levels.
