Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Journeyman

Supervisor: Manager, Electrical Field Operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installing conduit and field mounted devices and pulling wire.
• Field and panel terminations on 480V,120V and 24V systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Five years hands-on or Trade School is preferred.
• Must have knowledge of conveyor system field devices.
• Ability to Operate Forklift, scissor lift and boom lifts.
• Proficiency in reading drawings and follow basic instructions.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Knowledge of safe industrial work practices.

Working Conditions:

• This is a 100% traveling position.
• 50 to 70 Hours per week, based on project schedule. Some night work required as needed.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Occasional climbing on ladders, steps, scaffolding and/or mezzanines.
• Sitting in and/or driving a vehicle for a long period of time.
• Working in office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.
• Possible exposure to noise levels exceeding recommended DBA levels.
