Job summary

Climate Pros seeks an Electrical Journeyman to perform skilled, journeyman-level electrical work on commercial systems. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, reading blueprints and diagrams to ensure safe, code-compliant results.

You may work independently or with a crew, travel to multiple job sites, document service activities, and uphold company safety standards while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, modify, and repair electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, and components used in commercial applications.
• Perform journeyman-level maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, fixtures, motors, and control devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical system issues, including power failures, control malfunctions, and connectivity problems.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Perform testing and verification of electrical systems using meters and diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate work with technicians, project managers, and other skilled trades as required.
• Complete assigned service calls and project work in a professional manner that meets customer and company standards.
• Maintain accurate service and project documentation, including notes, test results, and photos.
• Comply with all company policies, jobsite procedures, and applicable electrical and safety codes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle or assigned tools.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
• Perform other related duties within the scope of the electrical trade as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Certifications and Education

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull
• Must be able to lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds
• Work is performed in commercial and industrial environments, including indoor and outdoor settings
• Exposure to moderate noise levels, energized equipment, and varying temperatures
