Ontivity Mountain Wireless is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to support the buildout of next-generation wireless infrastructure in Colorado and surrounding states. The role focuses on 5G deployment, new telecom site construction, and large-venue technology installations with a strong emphasis on safety and high-quality work.

Candidates should have a Colorado Journeyman Electrician License and be prepared to travel up to 15% for projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Construct AC power systems up to 1000V.
• Install and maintain secondary power systems including standby generators and battery systems.
• Work with new and existing utility services.
• Perform AC to DC power conversion.
• Interpret construction drawings and one-line diagrams.
• Install and troubleshoot low-voltage alarm and control wiring.
• Troubleshoot low- and medium-voltage electrical systems.
• Install EMT, GRC, and PVC conduit.
• Perform basic electrical calculations: conductor sizing, available fault current, voltage drop.
• Install step-down transformers and perform electrical testing.
• Install electrical enclosures and supervise apprentices.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Construct AC power systems with voltages up to 1000V
• Install and maintain secondary power systems, including standby generators and battery systems
• Work with new and existing utility services
• Perform AC to DC power conversion
• Interpret construction drawings and one‑line diagrams
  (Adobe or Bluepaper PDF editor experience preferred)
• Install and troubleshoot low‑voltage alarming and control wiring
• Troubleshoot low‑ and medium‑voltage electrical systems
• Install EMT, GRC, and PVC conduit
• Perform basic electrical calculations, including:
  • Conductor sizing
  • Available fault current
  • Voltage drop
• Install step‑down transformers
• Perform electrical testing
• Install electrical enclosures
• Supervise and mentor electrical apprentices
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
