Job summary

Powerus is seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer to define and document the vehicle‑level electrical design across our unmanned platforms, from power distribution architecture through the physical harness that implements it. This position requires U.S.

Person status and on-site work with the aircraft teams in Charlotte. You will collaborate with hardware, mechanical, propulsion, and manufacturing engineers, spend time on the aircraft with a meter in hand, and lead wiring harness design,

Qualifications

On-site work in Rock Hill, SC area with US citizenship or U.S. Person status.
Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with vehicle, aircraft, robotics electrical installations, including wiring and connectors.

Responsibilities

Design vehicle wire harnesses with conductor sizing, shielding, and routing for vibration and maintenance access.
Select connectors and backshells based on environment, current, cycles, sealing, and mass.
Define grounding, bonding, and shield terminations to keep signals clean near motors and radios.
Maintain electrical load and power distribution budgets across flight phases.
Create and maintain harness drawings, pinouts, interface documents.
Support harness build with manufacturing, first-article review, and feedback.
Lead electrical integration and troubleshooting on the aircraft.
Drive configuration control across vehicle variants.
Support environmental, ground, and flight test with instrumentation.
