Job summary

True West Beef in Jerome, ID, is seeking motivated Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to join our maintenance team. You will maintain and repair plant controls and automation systems to keep equipment safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial electrical work, AB PLC/VFD experience, and proficiency with RSLogix/Studio 5000; Ignition SCADA knowledge is a plus. We offer a family-oriented, growth-focused workplace at our new, state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical experience.
• AB PLC/VFD experience required (Allen Bradley).
• Proficiency with RSLogix/Studio 5000 and related software.
• Knowledge of Ignition SCADA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, inspect, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment and instrumentation.
• Design, layout, and prepare sketches for control systems.
• Assist maintenance with equipment failures and preventive maintenance.
• Operate PLCs, RTUs and associated I/O; manage VFDs and motor controls.
