Job summary
Automation Personnel Services in Rossville, TN seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and advanced automation systems.
Requires a Licensed Journeyman Electrician with 2+ years in industrial controls; valid Class D license; strong wiring, instrumentation, and safety knowledge. Position is full-time with competitive hourly pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- Licensed Journeyman Electrician required and valid license.
- 2+ years as an E&I Technician working on Industrial Control Systems.
- Knowledge of safety circuits and NEC codes preferred.
- Must possess a valid Class D driver's license and access to reliable vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment and automation components (PLC, HMIs, VDFs, servo systems, robotics).
- Collaborate with Engineering, Controls, and Robotics teams to commission and startup new installations.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to ensure accurate execution.
- Install wiring, switch boxes, conduits, and feeders; ensure compliance with safety standards.
