Job summary

Fuji Vegetable Oil in Savannah, GA is seeking an experienced industrial electrician to maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems in our food-grade refinery on the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial electrical maintenance, know PLCs, motors, VFDs, instrumentation, and read schematics; SAP experience preferred; safety programs NFPA 70E and LOTO followed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial electrical/instrumentation maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical distribution and industrial control systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical distribution and industrial control systems
• Diagnose motors, motor controls, VFDs, MCCs and 480V equipment
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment
• Maintain and calibrate process instrumentation
• Support DCS operations
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Read electrical drawings, P&IDs and schematics
• Support root cause analysis and reliability improvements
• Perform equipment installations and upgrades
• Utilize SAP to document maintenance activities
• Follow NFPA 70E, LOTO and all plant safety procedures

What You'll Do

You'll maintain and troubleshoot the electrical and instrumentation systems that keep our refinery operating.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• 5+ years of industrial electrical/instrumentation maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with:
  • PLCs
  • Motors
  • VFDs
  • Instrumentation
  • Pneumatics
  • Process equipment
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Commitment to safety
• Experience in food manufacturing, refining, chemical processing, paper, power generation or similar industrial environments preferred
