Job summary

Alpine Silica, a PF Holdings company, seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to troubleshoot, repair, commission, and maintain plant electrical and instrumentation across major U.S. basins. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to SOPs, and continuous improvement in reliability and cost effectiveness.

Five+ years of experience and PLC/motor control expertise are required. The position includes diverse equipment ownership and preventive maintenance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years’ experience as an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician.
• PLC experience.
• 3 phase motor control experience.
• Mechanical experience, specifically, knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, commission, and maintain all plant electrical and instrumentation.
• Operate instrument, electrical tools, and equipment as required to troubleshoot, fabricate, replace and/or repair industrial parts and equipment per demonstrated skill level competency.
• Improve equipment and system reliability and cost effectiveness through demonstrated equipment, component, and system ownership.
• Develop and complete preventive maintenance requirements, interpreting technical drawings or diagrams, operation manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot digital and pneumatic controls and plant instruments.
