Job description

Kane Partners is on the search for an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for a growing production company making recycled products for everyday use.

Responsibilities

1. Evaluate, repair, adjust, and maintain equipment, and rebuild and install as required industrial machines used in manufacturing and production operations.
2. Ensure machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modify and fine-tune machines as needed.
3. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
4. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are required to effectively repair and maintain all automated and sensing equipment as required.
6. Setup and maintain all robotic material handling/feeding systems.
7. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all automated equipment including Form/Fill/Seal equipment as necessary.
8. Experienced with Single-Phase and Three-Phase motors.
9. Experienced with VFDs, HMIs, electrical switch gear, and PLCs – including programming.
