Job summary

Ag Processing Inc is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance team at the St. Joseph refinery. The role focuses on troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, and process control systems, while driving reliability and modernization in a safety‑conscious manufacturing environment.

You will develop training, manage projects, coordinate with contractors, and ensure accurate documentation to support capital initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
  • 3+ years in industrial electrical and motor control systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming, instrumentation, and process control.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead maintenance technicians and oversee daily activities and performance.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, process control systems, instrumentation, and industrial electrical equipment.
  • Drive system improvements by supporting electrical and process control projects from concept through installation.
  • Plan and execute calibrations, inspections, and preventive maintenance with accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate projects with contractors, vendors, and plant leadership to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
  • Design and deliver training programs for PLC, HMI, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including prints and system configurations.
  • Support capital planning by researching E&I equipment and developing cost estimates.

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to lead, develop, and optimize the electrical and process control systems at our St. Joseph refinery.
