Job summary

NPAworldwide seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Specialist for a hands-on role at our Pryor, Oklahoma facility. You will troubleshoot and maintain process control systems, program PLCs/DCS, and support instrumentation, drives, and field devices across a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Collaborating with operations, maintenance, and capital projects teams, you’ll back up documentation, assist with shut downs, and contribute to reliability programs while ensuring safe, efficient

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or related field or a vocational certificate/diploma in electronic controls/instrumentation.
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 1–3+ years experience as an electrical maintenance technician in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Paper manufacturing or other industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical sensors, switches, controllers, instrumentation, transmitters, valves, and industrial communications.
  • Programming experience includes the ability to create, monitor, modify PLC and DCS control logic.
  • Ability to work with plant personnel, engineering groups, and outside contractors; self-motivated and autonomous.

  • Programming experience includes the ability to create, monitor, modify PLC and DCS control logic.
  • Ability to work with plant personnel, engineering groups, and outside contractors to ensure the proper execution of work.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
