Origin Mining Company, LLC is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician to join our team in Minnesota. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems within a continuous process environment.

The candidate will interpret complex schematics, manage work-orders, and ensure safe, reliable operation of process control equipment. Required are 3+ years of industrial electrical experience, NEC knowledge, and proficiency with

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electrical, electronic and instrumentation devices.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems.
• Initiate and complete work-orders and document all critical information on a routine basis.
• The successful candidate will possess motor control experience, experience with VFDs, PLC controls & I/O wiring, and voltage experience.

Industrial Electrical Experience Required

The E&I technician will utilize their skills and knowledge of electrical equipment, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and rigging, in our continuous pulp and paper process manufacturing environment to achieve equipment run ability.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace electrical, electronic and instrumentation devices.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to troubleshoot and maintain process control systems.
• Initiate and complete work-orders and document all critical and or pertinent information on a routine basis.

Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion
• Ability to hear sufficiently to distinguish various pitches of warning alarms.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically.
