Job summary

Qnity Chambers Works is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Mechanic to perform a variety of maintenance duties with minimal supervision to keep a 24/7 chemical manufacturing process running safely and efficiently. The candidate will troubleshoot, calibrate, install and repair plant instrumentation and electrical systems.

The role is Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with overtime as needed and possible nights, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic electricity, PLCs, instrumentation, safety, and NEC.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant instrumentation and electrical equipment safely.
• Install electrical raceways per NEC.
• Support preventive maintenance programs for equipment.
• Read and interpret P&ID drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Provide maintenance support for production instruments/equipment.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, dismantle, rebuild and install equipment.
