Job summary

Koch Business Solutions, LP is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer for their St. James, Louisiana team. This role is instrumental in implementing and maintaining electrical and instrument reliability programs while assisting the Senior E/I Engineer.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills with over 5 years of engineering experience. The position includes a 9/80 work schedule and offers a range of benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical and/or instrumentation engineering experience.
• Experience in leading Process Hazard Analysis (PHA).
• Ability to perform instrument calculations using Conval.

Responsibilities

• Manage Smart Plant Instrumentation Intools database.
• Develop and review electrical and instrument PM tasks.
• Perform root cause failure analysis on electrical equipment.

Skills

Electrical and instrumentation engineering experience

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Experience in root cause failure analysis

Experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance

Ability to identify and close gaps in mechanical integrity

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
