Job summary

SGS is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Inspector for a short term contract in Lathrop, Missouri. The role involves ensuring electrical/instrumentation installations meet NEC/IEC codes, project specs, and safety standards, with a focus on quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial environments, experience with E&I processes, and preferred AEI/IAEI/CEI/CompEx credentials; NFPA 70 knowledge is a plus. Competitive hourly rate and per diem are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in E&I inspection.
• Min 3-4 years shop/vendor surveillance experience.
• Understanding of E&I processes, codes and standards.
• Experience ensuring installations meet NEC/IEC and safety requirements.
• AEI/IAEI/CEI and/or CompEx preferred; NFPA 70 knowledge is a plus.

SGS is looking for an Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Inspector for a short term contract (2-3 months) in Lathrop, MO.

• Inspector Rate: $45/hr – $55/hr
• Per Diem of$178 per day – this is including weekends

• AEI, IAEI, CEI and/orCompEx would preferable
• NFPA 70 knowledge would be an asset.
• Minimum of five (5) years ofexperience.
• Min. 3-4 years Shop / vendor surveillance experience
• Understanding of E&I processes, codes and standards
• Ensures electrical/instrumentation installations meet codes (NEC/IEC), specs, and safety standards.
• Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc.
