Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation and Analyzer Technician to join our industrial maintenance team. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance, manage analyzers and Continuous Emissions Monitoring equipment, and respond to emergencies to keep plant operations safe and compliant.

You will prioritize health and safety, maintain logs and documentation, and complete weekly, monthly and annual inspections while supporting the team with flexible duties as

Qualifications

  • Must have 2+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience or 4+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • Holds high safety standards and follows compliance policies.
  • Responsible for maintaining logs, records and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies and safe practices.
  • Maintains facility instruments, sensors, probes, control loops, analyzers and electrical systems.
  • Manages Continuous Emissions Monitoring equipment and related systems.
  • Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections (weekly, monthly, yearly).
  • Completes emergency repairs as needed and supports team duties.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Electrical, Instrumentation and Analyzer (EIA) Technician As an Electrical, Instrumentation and Analyzer Technician you will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance work and answering emergency calls related to any plant instrumentation or electrical issues. This role will manage the facility’s analyzers and Continuous Emissions Monitoring equipment and will be responsible for completing weekly, monthly and annual inspections.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
  • Maintains all facility instruments, sensors, probes, control loops, analyzers and electrical systems
  • Manages facility Continuous Emissions Monitoring equipment
  • Completes scheduled preventative maintenance and weekly, monthly and annual inspections
  • Maintains required logs, records and documentation
  • Completes emergency repairs as needed
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associates degree in an electrical or instrumentation related field (preferred)
Experience
  • 2+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience (required) -OR-
  • In lieu of degree, 4+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience (required)
