Job summary

Southern Careers Institute in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Instructor for Electrical Technician with full- and part-time roles. Day and Evening shifts are available. This is not a remote position; candidates must live in or commute to the city to be considered.

You will deliver course materials, adhere to institutional policies, maintain student records, and contribute to curriculum development while helping students train for placement in Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working as an Electrician.
• Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License (issued by Texas Department Licensing and Regulation).
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency with installation and repair on all types of commercial and residential electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all course materials and instruction for academic programs offered by the institution, to prepare the student for the workplace.
• Adhere to all institutional educational policies and procedures.
• Maintain student records and participate in curriculum development and revision.
• Aid our students in the achievement of their goal and deliver a Student First experience.

• Maintain student records and participate in curriculum development and revision;
• SCI instructors have the primary responsibility of aiding our students in the achievement of their goal (i.e. to be trained and placed), and delivering a Student First experience.
